Morrell named to IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll
North Adams, MA- MCLA senior Svetlana Morrell has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Academic Honor Roll for the second straight season. The national organization released their teams yesterday afternoon.
The honor marks the second straight season for Morrell and she is the lone representative from MCLA.
The IWLCA honored 535 student-athletes from 160 different institutions on the 2017 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Morrell graduated in May for head coach Maria Bartini. Morrell was a two sport athlete at MCLA competing in basketball all four years in North Adams. Morrell graduated with a dual degree in Biology and Psychology.
