69 Trailblazers Earn Winter/Spring MASCAC All-Academic Team Honors

Westfield, MA — A total of 1,062 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league's Winter/Spring 2025 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by each of the MASCAC institutions during the Winter and Spring 2025 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Winter/Spring All-Academic.

On the Winter/Spring 2025 MASCAC All-Academic Team, Worcester State University finished with 15 percent of the total numbers of student[1]athletes while Westfield State University had 13 percent with Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University and Framingham State University all at 11 percent. Salem State University landed at nine percent while MCLA was at seven percent and Massachusetts Maritime at six.

"I want to congratulate all the MASCAC student-athletes who were named to the 2024 Winter/Spring MASCAC All-Academic Team," Commissioner Baumann said. "I am extremely proud of our student-athletes achieving success in the classroom as they compete on the playing fields and courts across our conference. This accomplishment exemplifies what it is to be a student-athlete."

The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, the nation's oldest Division III men's and women's playing conference, has a rich and storied tradition of competitive success while celebrating excellence in the classroom. MASCAC member schools include Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University, Framingham State University, MCLA, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Salem State University,

Westfield State University and Worcester State University. Two other institutions, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Plymouth State University, are affiliate members of the conference in the sports of football and men's ice hockey, while Western Connecticut State University joined the conference as a football affiliate member in 2013. Springfield College joined as men's golf affiliates in 2019 while Marymount University and Marywood University joined in 2024. Anna Maria became our ninth core member in 2025.
