Mooney Named President of NADIIIAA

CLEVELAND – The National Association of Division III Athletic administrators (NADIIIAA) has announced that Laura Mooney, assistant dean of athletics and recreation at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), will move into the President role for the 2025-26 membership year.
"I am honored and excited to continue serving the NADIIIAA membership as President for the 2025–26 year," stated Mooney. "I look forward to collaborating with our phenomenal board as we roll out our new strategic plan. The goals we've identified are thoughtfully aligned with the evolving needs of our members and the broader Division III landscape."
U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Director of Physical Education & Athletics Kristofer Schnatz, will serve as the 1st Vice President, Crystal Gibson, director of athletics & recreation, St. Mary's College will take over as 2nd Vice President, and Donnie Brooks, associate vice president for student affairs / director of athletics, Macalester College will move into the 3rd Vice President role.
The following individuals, who were voted on by the membership in the summer, begin their at-large member tenures on the Board of Directors:
- Nikki Ayers, vice president for intercollegiate athletics, University of the Redlands
- G. Anthony Grant, director of athletics/DAPER department head, MIT
In addition to the above individuals, the NADIIIAA Board includes:
- Immediate Past President – Mike Snyder, director of athletics at Pacific Lutheran University
- And the At-Large Board members:

- Anthony Azama, associate vice chancellor for student affairs & The John M. Schael director of athletics, Washington University in St. Louis
- Ryan Erwin, senior vice president for campus life / athletics director, East Texas Baptist University (ETBU)
- Brian Sisson, athletics director, Saint Mary's University of Minnesota
- John Sutyak, director of intercollegiate athletics & recreation, University of Southern Maine
