2024 VTSU Badgers Invitational Results

Jay Peak, Vt.— Battling through bitter cold, challenging wind conditions, various forms of precipitation, and the field, the MCLA Golf team claimed its first title of the season today at the 2024 VTSU Badgers Invitational held at the Jay Peak Resort Golf Course.

Mat Gover (85) and Cody White (85) led the Trailblazers tying for 3rd while teammates Paul Roeder (86) finished 5th and Easton Moore (89) finished 7th.

SUNY Canton's Kahontiio Lazore won the individual title with an 81 and SUNY Cobleskill's Josh House finished second with an 84.

The Trailblazers collectively shot 345 (+57), fifteen strokes clear of second place SUNY Canton.

MCLA returns to Northern Vermont on Wednesday as they compete in Norwich University's Tony Mariano Invitational at the Country Club of Barre.
