Golf Picked Second Behind Springfield in MASCAC Preseason Poll

2024 MASCAC Men's Golf Preseason Poll Release

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Looking to build on what was a historic 2023 campaign, the MCLA Golf team has been voted second in the 2024 MASCAC preseason coaches' poll which was released earlier today by the league.

Last season's MASCAC Champion Springfield College was picked to repeat earning five of the seven possible first place votes with MCLA collecting the other two.

In the 2023 MASCAC Championship the Trailblazers were led by Player and Rookie of the Year Mat Gover who won the individual crown while helping MCLA to a second-place finish.

The Trailblazers look to build on last year's success competing in nine Fall events (2024-2025 MCLA Golf Schedule ) including the MASCAC Championship on September 28th and 29th at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Massachusetts.

MCLA, who earlier this week won the VTSU Badgers Invitational and finished fourth at Norwich University's Tony Marino Invitational, will travel to Middlebury, Vermont this weekend to compete in the Duke Nelson Invitational.
