Porter earns First Team All MASCAC nod

2021 Women's Soccer All Conference Team

North Adams, MA- MCLA senior back Alyssa Porter (Boylston, MA) has been selected to the All MASCAC First Team as announced by the league offices this morning.  The honor is the first for Porter in an MCLA uniform. 

Westfield State's Delaney Parker has been selected as the conference's Player and Rookie of the Year.  Her coach, Todd Ditmar, was tabbed as the conference's Coach of the Year.  Bridgewater State's Samantha Tomaszewski was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year.

Porter started all 14 games this season for MCLA.  She posted a goal in a game with Westfield State back on September 25th, however her main focus was clamping down on an opponents top scoring threat.  

Sitting on the MASCAC First Team with Porter, Parker, and Tomaszewski are Michelle Belcher, Delaney Langton and Tory Viola-Laughery of Bridgewater State, Madison Pesce of Salem State, Jaida Cochran, Jenna Hurlburt and Jenn Rennich of Westfield State and Megan Gurlitz of Worcester State.

Earning a spot on the 2021 MASCAC Second Team are Natasha Barnes, Cassie Brown, Megan Keller and Audra McDuffie of Bridgewater State, Shannon McCarthy of Fitchburg State, Julia Quindley of Massachusetts Maritime, Jasmine Moran of Salem State, Lauryn Davis of Westfield State and Kristen Beidlemann. Leah Fitzgerald and Hailey Skowronski of Worcester State.
