Scoreless Draw Extends Women’s Soccer’s Undefeated Streak to Six Games
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. — The MCLA Women's Soccer team took the road this evening for a MASCAC match with potential playoff implications for both teams. For the third straight game, the goalkeeping duo of Mallory Amirian and Destiny Alexandra Rivas combined to keep the opponent off the scoreboard. The scoreless draw extended the Trailblazers' shutout streak to 320 minutes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams' defenses kept the pressure on the opponent's offense. The teams combined for only 13 shots, of which five were on goal. MCLA notched three shots on net, while MMA posted two in the second half and none in the first.
- The Trailblazers' three shots on goal were credited to Gwendolyn Duggan (Palmer, MA), Catelyn Hodge (Schenectady, NY), and Cidnee Frymire (Tonawanda, NY).
- Trailblazers' keeper Destiny Alexandra Rivas (Leicester, MA) moved their record to 3-5-3 while Brady Deschamps went to 1-10-1 for the Buccaneers.
- MCLA's 320 minutes and ten seconds of scoreless play is their longest since a run of 467 minutes and nine seconds during the 2011 season.
- The Trailblazers' six-game undefeated streak is the team's longest since a streak of 13 games to close out the 2010 season.
