Garber collects second MASCAC Rookie honor of the season
North Adams, MA-- For the second time this season, MCLA Volleyball player Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) has been named the MASCAC Rookie of the Week. The conference announced their weekly honors this afternoon. Shawna Crowley of Westfield State was selected as the MASCAC Player of the week.
Garber had another great week for the Trailblazers. In three starts, the first year averaged 14.6 kills, 10.6 digs, and 2.6 aces.
Garber began the week by notching 19 kills and 12 digs in a 3-2 loss to New England College. She would add 14 kills and 16 digs in a 3-0 win over Mass. Maritime.
Garber would conclude the week with 11 kills in a loss to Trinity.
The Trailblazers will look to climb the conference ranks on Wednesday night when they travel to Fitchburg State for a MASCAC tilt.
