Garber repeats as MASCAC Rookie of the Week

North Adams, MA- For the second straight week and third time this season, MCLA Volleyball standout Chloie Garber has been selected as the MASCAC Rookie of the Week.  Bridgette McAndrews of Westfield State was selected as the player of the week.

Garber, who hails from Eagle River, AK, averaged 15.75 kills and 9 digs in 2-2 week for MCLA.  The first year collected 12 kills with a .500 hitting percentage in the 3-0 win over Fitchburg State before adding a season best 21 kills in the 3-2 setback to Skidmore College. Garber rounded out the week with 11 and 19 kills, respectively in the 3-0 win over Sage College and 3-2 setback to New Jersey City University.

Garber currently leads the conference in kills with 187.  

Volleyball is back in action on Thursday when they head to Nichols College for a non league matchup.
